Ambassador-at-Large for Special Duties and Special Presidential Envoy of the Republic of Liberia, Sheikh Al-Moustapha Kouyateh, held an insightful courtesy meeting with His Excellency Zied Saadaqui, Ambassador of Tunisia to Côte d’Ivoire, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and advancing continental priorities.

The discussions centered on Liberia’s leadership role as a Non-Permanent Member of the United Nations Security Council and the country’s broader contributions to regional peace and stability. Ambassador Kouyateh highlighted Liberia’s commitment to constructive engagement at the global level, particularly in matters affecting Africa.
Both diplomats explored avenues for deepening cooperation between Liberia and Tunisia, with particular emphasis on advancing the African Union’s Agenda 2063 framework. Key areas of collaboration discussed included education partnerships, technology transfer, trade expansion, investment opportunities, and broader regional integration.
Ambassador Kouyateh underscored the importance of African solidarity and practical partnerships in driving sustainable development across the continent.
“I look forward to strengthening partnerships that promote peace, development, and shared prosperity for our peoples,” he stated.
