A lighthearted incident in Bangkok has captured global attention after a lost cat named Nub Tang became an internet sensation for scratching police officers during a rescue attempt and being jokingly “arrested.”

The incident occurred when officers responded to a report of a stray cat wandering the streets. While trying to rescue her, Nub Tang put up a fierce resistance, scratching the officers in what many online users later described as a bold act of feline defiance.

Rather than treating the situation harshly, the officers embraced humor. Nub Tang was taken to a nearby police station, where she was calmly cared for by one of the officers. In a playful twist, the police shared photos of the cat’s “mugshot” and even posted her paw print online, sparking laughter and admiration across social media platforms.

The posts quickly went viral, with thousands praising the officers for their kindness and sense of humor, and dubbing Nub Tang a “tiny criminal with attitude.”

The story had a happy ending when Nub Tang’s owner was eventually located. The cat was released on “bail” and safely reunited with her family, bringing the episode to a joyful close.

The incident has since been celebrated as a reminder that even in serious professions, compassion and humor can turn an ordinary moment into a global smile.
