NAHCON Clarifies Application Numbers for 2024 Hajj Medical Team

In response to numerous inquiries and concerns raised by applicants for the 2024 Hajj medical team, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has issued an important notice regarding changes to application numbers.
The Commission clarified that a recent exercise was conducted to harmonize the list of applicants due to the discovery of multiple duplications in the applications. A thorough verification process was undertaken, resulting in a reallocation of application numbers.

It is crucial to highlight that this reallocation does not impact the original applications submitted by the applicants. NAHCON assures all applicants that the reallocation process was necessary to address the issue of duplication and ensure a fair and transparent selection process.
NAHCON emphasizes that, at this point, no accreditation has taken place. The Commission urges all applicants to disregard any information not originating from NAHCON’s official website. Official announcements and updates regarding the NAHCON Medical Team will be exclusively communicated through the official channels.
The statement, signed by Fatima Usara, NAHCON’s Assistant Director of Public Affairs, admonishes members of the general public, especially prospective applicants, to seek accurate and official information, from NAHCON’s official website.
