The President of the Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs Safiyyah Hassan Shaibu, has called on members of the Association to sustain innovative and impactful initiatives that align with NAOWA’s core ideals.

She made the call while receiving the Chairperson of the NAOWA 3 Division Chapter, Mrs Temitope Oyedele Oyinlola, during a courtesy visit to the NAOWA National Secretariat in Abuja on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Mrs Shaibu commended the Chairperson for the notable achievements recorded by the Chapter, describing her leadership as purposeful and result-driven. She particularly applauded the Chapter’s strong focus on capacity building and educational development, noting that such efforts reflect NAOWA’s commitment to empowering families and communities.
In her remarks, Mrs Oyinlola reaffirmed her dedication to NAOWA’s vision and outlined key interventions carried out by the 3 Division Chapter. These include the donation of buses to NAOWA schools, renovation of school facilities, installation of solar-powered systems at the Secretariat, and upgrades to recreational and learning infrastructure.
The visit featured an interactive session, signing of the visitors’ book, and group photographs, further strengthening ties between the national body and the 3 Division Chapter.
