National Forum Recognises DEPOWA President’s Achievements with Ladi Kwali Award
The National Forum for Youth and Women Education Development (NFYWED) has confirmed Ladi Kali platinum Award to the President of Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs. Oghogho Gwabin Musa.

Comrade Lami Oguogho, National Convener of NFYWED, disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the President in her office recently.
“Mrs. Musa’s achievements in areas such as capacity building, youth and women empowerment, and philanthropic initiatives.
She highlighted the Forum’s close observation of DEPOWA’s activities and expressed deep admiration for Mrs. Musa’s performance.
“In recognition of her exceptional leadership and commitment to women and youth empowerment, NFYWED we bestowed upon Mrs. Musa the Ladi Kwali Platinum Award of Excellence.
“This award, named after renowned Nigerian potter Ladi Kwali, recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and dedication to social progress.
Expressing her gratitude, Mrs. Musa dedicated the award to all members of DEPOWA, the Armed Forces, and the countless women and girls who strive to make a positive impact in society.
She emphasised that the award motivates DEPOWA to continue its impactful work and further strengthen its commitment to women and youth empowerment.
