NAWC Marked Women Day at GSS Dukpa
The Nigerian Army Women Command (NAWC) marked the #InternationalWomensDay on Friday 8 March 2024 with an inspiring visit to students of Government Girls Secondary School Dukpa in Gwagwalada, FCT.
The Commander Nigerian Army Women Command Brigadier General MI Amatso led the NAWC team to the school and presented gifts to the young women in celebration of the #IWD.
Brig Gen Amatso urged the female students to follow the examples of good leaders and pursue their dreams. He advised the students to focus on their studies and obey the rules of the school.
Brig Gen Amatso also thanked the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt Gen TA Lagbaja for his generous support in providing the needed resources for Nigerian Army Women’s Command to celebrate International Women’s Day with a chosen school.
