Osun Amotekun arrests two suspects for causing mayhem in Araromi Owu

The Operatives of Osun Amotekun Corps have arrested two suspects, Ogunjobi Ayanyemi, 39 years, and Muritala Olajire, 42 years, for causing a crisis in Araromi Owu in Irewole Local Government of Osun State.
The suspects were arrested at Araromi Owu in their hideout at a different locations in the town following a tip-off from the Amotekun Intelligent in the town on the activities and involvement of the felons in the crisis that erupted in the town on Tuesday where two people died and many houses and shops were vandalized and burnt off, the Amotekun operatives immediately swung into action and apprehended the suspects in their hideout.
Confirming the arrest to the newsmen in Osogbo, the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Adekunle Omoyele said the felons were arrested at different locations in the town following a tip-off. The suspect’s involvement erupted from the chieftaincy crisis that ignited the killing of two people, burnt off many houses and shops were vandalized. Amotekun operatives swung into action immediately and apprehended the culprits in their hideout in the town.
Upon the investigation, “The suspects admitted of committing the crime and mentioned their cohorts.
Omoyele urged inhabitants to assist security agencies with reasonable intelligence information to tackle any potential security threat in the state.
The suspects have been handed over to the police for subsequent interrogation and prosecution.
