Osun NUJ felicitates Governor Adeleke on Vanguard Newspaper’s award

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Osun State Council has felicitated Governor Ademola Adeleke on being named “Governor of the Year Infrastructural Development” by Vanguard Newspaper.
OSUN NUJ noted that the honour conferred on the governor in Lagos on Friday is in recognition of outstanding and remarkable performance in the area of infrastructural development since his assumption of office as Governor of Osun State.
A statement by the Chairman and Secretary of Osun NUJ,Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Adeyemi Aboderin lauded the administration of the Governor on his radical approach to transforming infrastructural landscape of the state, noting that the state has never had it so good since its creation.
The statement further noted that the “Vanguard Newspaper Governor of the Year on Infrastructural Development” bestowed on the Chief Executive of the state will definitely encourage Mr Governor to further elevate status of the state among others.
While noting that Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists is also benefiting from the infrastructural turnaround on going in the state with the ongoing renovation of the Olu Oshungboun Hall, NUJ Press Centre, Osogbo, courtesy of Governor Ademola Adeleke, urged people of the state, irrespective of political affiliation to rally behind the present administration to deliver on its promises.
Osun NUJ appealed to the governor not to be allowed to be distracted but continue to set standard in infrastructural turnaround of the state.
