President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a two-day state visit to the United Kingdom beginning March 18, marking the first such visit by a Nigerian leader in 37 years.

Buckingham Palace announced the visit on Saturday, stating that President Tinubu’s trip is at the invitation of King Charles III, underscoring the significance of the engagement between both countries.
The President will be accompanied by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, during the visit, which is expected to further strengthen diplomatic relations and deepen cooperation between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
The state visit highlights renewed bilateral ties and reflects ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration across political, economic, and cultural spheres between the two nations.
