Vice President Kashim Shettima has commissioned the new head office of the Nigerian Electricity Liability Management Company in the Asokoro District of Abuja, reiterating the Federal Government’s commitment to reforming Nigeria’s power sector.

Speaking at the event, Shettima emphasized the determination of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to strengthen the nation’s energy infrastructure and ensure sustainable electricity supply.
He noted that despite Nigeria’s vast resources, the country cannot afford to compromise on energy security, describing it as critical to national development and economic growth.
The Vice President highlighted that ongoing reforms in the power sector would be driven by data-based decision-making, the intelligent deployment of technology in asset management, and enhanced collaboration with both local and international stakeholders.
He added that the administration remains focused on building a more efficient and resilient electricity sector capable of meeting the country’s growing energy demands.
