Suspected thugs storm polling units, hijack electoral materials in Bayelsa

Election materials have reportedly been taken by armed thugs who broke into polling units in the Sagbama local government area of Bayelsa state and shot sporadically into the air.
It was discovered that voters and voting materials were destroyed at Agorogbene, units 6, 7, and 8 in Ward 11 of the Local Government, at around nine in the morning.
Sources said that when the electors attempted to confront the armed men, they were met with a barrage of gunfire.
