Tragedy in Osun: Pastor Stabbed to Death by Jealous Husband

The Osun State Police Command has confirmed the shocking death of a pastor, Mr. Sina Olaribigbe, who was allegedly killed by a jealous husband suspecting him of having an affair with his wife.
The incident, which occurred in Osogbo, was confirmed on Thursday by the Command’s spokesperson, CSP Yemisi Opalola.
According to Opalola, the tragic event unfolded when the estranged husband found the pastor in his wife’s house. “The couple are not living together, though they are not legally separated,” she explained.
“The pastor had been intervening in their quarrels, and on this occasion, he was at the wife’s house when the estranged husband arrived. The husband probably believed the pastor was having an affair with his wife,” Opalola said.
Fueled by rage, the husband allegedly stabbed the pastor multiple times, leading to his death on the spot.
The suspect has been arrested and is currently in police custody, while the pastor’s body has been deposited in a morgue.
Further investigations have revealed that the wife of the suspect is a member of the deceased pastor’s church, where she served as an interpreter.
The community remains in shock over the tragic loss of the pastor, who was reportedly mediating in the couple’s troubled relationship at the time of the incident.
