In a heartfelt response during the investiture ceremony of 47 newly promoted Brigadier Generals to the rank of Major General, Major General Gabriel Ajetunmobi expressed deep gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering support and endorsement of their elevation within the Nigerian Army.

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted officers, Major General Ajetunmobi said, “We appreciate President Tinubu for creating an enabling environment and providing crucial guidance and support to the Chief of Army Staff, which ultimately contributed to our promotions.” He acknowledged the significance of the president’s role in fostering a conducive atmosphere for the growth and development of the Nigerian Army.
Ajetunmobi’s remarks underscored the promoted officers’ high motivation and commitment to serving the Nigerian Army and the nation at large. He emphasised the importance of President Tinubu’s leadership in facilitating their career advancements, reflecting the officers’ determination to align with the Chief of Army Staff’s vision for a robust and efficient military force.
The ceremony, attended by dignitaries including Governors of Edo and Taraba State, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Army, and other top-ranking officials, witnessed Major General Ajetunmobi’s sincere acknowledgment of the pivotal role played by President Tinubu in their professional journey. The Major General expressed optimism about the continued success and effectiveness of the Nigerian Army under President Tinubu’s guidance.
