The Ministry of Defence has concluded a plan for a strategic partnership with the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) in order to tackle the escalating insecurity crisis in the country.
This was contained in a press statement signed and made available to newsmen by Saf’one Sani Man, Personal Assistant on Media to the Minister of Defence in Abuja, on Thursday.

The statement said that Mr. Badaru disclosed this when he received Executives of the National Institute led by the Director General, Prof. Ayo Omotayo, in Ship House, Abuja.
Mr. Badaru emphasised the crucial role of leveraging NIPSS’s research findings to address security threats and foster peace, highlighting the need for collaborative efforts to enhance the nation’s security architecture.
The Minister expressed confidence in the Institute as a catalyst for positive change and disclosed plans to submit the Northern Group’s recent security summit report to NIPSS for in-depth analysis.
