Former Gareth Barry has tipped Paris Saint-Germain to beat Arsenal in the upcoming UEFA Champions League final.
Speaking to BoyleSport, Barry acknowledged Arsenal’s impressive campaign, noting that the Gunners remain unbeaten in the competition, topping the group stage with a perfect record and progressing past Bayer Leverkusen in the Round of 16. Arsenal also secured a 1-0 victory in the first leg of their quarter-final clash against Sporting CP.
“If Arsenal see off Sporting, they will face either Barcelona or Atletico Madrid in the semi-final,” Barry said.
“I think Arsenal and PSG are the two that I fancy possibly going all the way. Arsenal vs PSG would be a tough final, but PSG have players built for those big, big games, so I’d probably edge towards them,” he added.
The prediction adds to growing anticipation ahead of what promises to be a high-stakes European final.
