Max Air has dismissed reports circulating on some media platforms alleging that the airline was grounded by ground handling companies over outstanding debts.
In a statement issued by the airline’s management on 12 June 2026, Max Air described the reports as false, insisting that its flight operations have continued without any disruption.
The airline categorically stated that it has not been grounded at any time, adding that any outstanding obligations to service providers have already been settled.
“All outstanding obligations with our service providers have been addressed, and the relevant payments have been made,” the statement read.
Max Air also stressed that it maintains a long-standing and professional relationship with its operational partners and remains committed to meeting all contractual obligations in line with agreed terms.
The airline further assured passengers and stakeholders that its Hajj and domestic flight operations are running as scheduled.
“Our aircraft are operating normally, and we remain fully focused on delivering safe, reliable, and efficient services to our customers,” it added.
Reassuring the public, the airline urged passengers to rely only on official communications from the company for accurate updates regarding its operations.
