A popular Asaba-based content creator, popularly known as Odogwu Asaba, has come under public scrutiny after a viral video surfaced online showing him appealing to the parents of a 20-year-old nursing student, identified as Favour, following allegations that he sexually assaulted her.
According to claims circulating on social media, Favour had narrated that she was facing financial difficulties in pursuing her nursing education and had previously turned down offers of financial assistance because she did not want to exchange sexual favours for support.
She alleged that the content creator later invited her to Asaba and asked her to meet him at a hotel. Believing she was safe because of his public profile, she agreed to the meeting.
Favour further alleged that after arriving at the hotel, she was sexually assaulted despite repeatedly pleading with him to stop. She also claimed that she informed him she had never had sexual intercourse before the alleged incident.
