The Egyptian delegation conveyed warm greetings from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to deepening economic cooperation across Africa. Central to the discussions was a proposal to host a bi-annual African business summit, aimed at strengthening business-to-business links, supporting SME growth, and accelerating practical trade and investment partnerships among African enterprises. The African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) and the African Development Bank Group are expected to collaborate on advancing the initiative.

Egypt also emphasized its intention to provide a supportive environment for African investors and businesses, positioning the country as a gateway for intra-African trade, regional integration, and shared economic growth.

The engagement underscores Afreximbank’s commitment to working with member states and continental institutions to expand trade, attract investment, and translate Africa’s integration agenda into tangible commercial outcomes.
