Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has appointed his daughters to key senior positions within the Dangote Group, signaling a new phase in the conglomerate’s leadership structure.

Under the new arrangement, Halima Aliko Dangote will head the Dangote Family Office and International Offices, while also overseeing its development in Dubai as the Group expands its global footprint.
Fatima Aliko Dangote has been assigned oversight of the Group’s oil and gas operations, including the refinery and petrochemicals businesses. She will also manage several core corporate functions within the organisation.
Mariya Aliko Dangote will take charge of commercial operations across the cement and foods divisions, with a mandate to drive market growth, strengthen competitiveness, and enhance operational efficiency.
The appointments reflect a strategic move to consolidate leadership within the family-owned conglomerate while positioning the Group for sustained expansion across key sectors of the African economy.
