Court Reserves Ruling on Blessing CEO’s Bail Application Until June 9

Justice D.I. Dipeolu of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi, Lagos, has reserved ruling until June 9, 2026, on the bail application filed by social media influencer and relationship therapist, Blessing CEO.

Blessing CEO, whose real name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, is currently facing trial on a two-count charge brought against her by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The charges border on alleged obtaining of money by false pretence and stealing involving the sum of N36 million.

The matter came up before Justice Dipeolu on Friday, June 5, 2026, during which counsel to the defendant argued for her release on bail, while the prosecution presented its position before the court.

After hearing submissions from both parties, the judge adjourned the matter and fixed June 9, 2026, for ruling on the bail application.

The case is part of ongoing efforts by the EFCC to prosecute alleged financial crimes and fraud-related offences.

Further proceedings in the matter are expected to continue after the court delivers its decision on the bail request.
