In a festive spirit marking the beginning of the new year, Brigadier General Mohammed Tajudeen Aminu, Commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade, hosted officers, soldiers, and the entire barracks community to an End of the Year Party at Alamala Barracks Parade Ground in Abeokuta, Ogun State on January 1, 2023.
During the celebration, Gen Aminu expressed heartfelt appreciation for the dedication exhibited by the officers and men of the Brigade, acknowledging their significant contribution to the Brigade’s success in the year 2023.
The event featured a range of enjoyable activities, including games such as Jungle Run, Plastic Slides, Merry Go Round, High Scrapper Castle, Cottage Castle, and Bungee Run, providing a day of entertainment for children.
Gen Aminu emphasised the importance of the End of the Year Party as a means to relieve stress after the Brigade’s involvement in various training activities and operations throughout the preceding year. He encouraged all officers and soldiers to carry the same enthusiasm into the new year, 2024.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of prizes and gift items to children who secured the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions in the various competitive events.
The celebration concluded smoothly, creating a positive and joyous start to the new year.
