CAF Appoints Mustapha Jallow as General Coordinator for Al Masry vs Zamalek Clash

The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) has announced with pride the appointment of Mr. Mustapha Jallow, President of the Kanifing Municipality Regional Football Association, as the General Coordinator for the CAF Confederation Cup match between Al Masry and Zamalek.

The high-profile encounter is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2026, at the Suez Canal Stadium in Egypt.

According to the GFF, the appointment by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is a clear recognition of Mr. Jallow’s growing stature and professionalism in football administration on the continent. Over the years, he has built a solid reputation through his involvement in both club and national team competitions.

Mr. Jallow most recently served as an Assistant Coordinator at the TotalEnergies Africa U-17 Cup of Nations last year, as well as during the CAF Confederation Cup fixture between Al Masry and Kaizer Chiefs in November. His continued selection for key CAF assignments underscores the confidence reposed in his capacity to deliver effectively at the highest levels of African football.
