CALL FOR ENTRIES: THEATRE EXPOSED–2026 International Theatre Photography Competition

Professional theatre photographers around the world are invited to submit entries for the 2026 International Theatre Photography Competition, THEATRE EXPOSED—a global platform dedicated to celebrating theatre as art through the power of photography. The competition is held annually and culminates on World Photography Day, August 19, 2026.

Organised in partnership with ASSITEJ International, THEATRE EXPOSED brings together theatre and performing arts practitioners committed to work for children and young people, while embracing the full spectrum of contemporary theatre photography. Participation is free of charge.
The 2026 competition runs from January 1 to August 19, 2026, with submissions accepted in four categories: art photo, portrait photo, movement in art, and open category (including theatre performances for children and youth).
Participants may submit up to five photographs per category, with a maximum of 20 photographs per participant. All submissions must meet the stipulated artistic and technical requirements and be accompanied by full production details.
Entries will be evaluated by a distinguished international jury, followed by public voting for selected works on the official THEATRE EXPOSED Facebook page. Winners will be announced on August 19, 2026, in celebration of World Photography Day.
