Dangote Cement Declares Record N753.8bn Dividend for 2025 Financial Year

Dangote Cement Plc has declared a record dividend of N753.8 billion, equivalent to N45 per share, for the 2025 financial year, marking its highest-ever shareholder payout.

The dividend represents a 50 per cent increase from the N30 per share distributed for the previous financial year, reflecting the company’s strong financial performance despite a challenging operating environment.

According to the company, the record payout was driven by resilient earnings, robust cash generation and its continued commitment to delivering sustainable value to shareholders.

Dangote Cement said the latest dividend underscores its focus on rewarding investors while maintaining strong financial fundamentals and supporting long-term growth.

The company disclosed that it has paid more than N3.3 trillion in dividends to shareholders over the past 15 years, making it one of the highest dividend-paying companies listed on the Nigerian Exchange.

Africa’s largest cement producer said it remains committed to expanding its operations across the continent, driving industrial development and creating long-term value for shareholders while maintaining its position as one of Africa’s leading blue-chip companies.
