DEPOWA President, Mrs. Oghogho Musa, Bags Humanitarian Medal 2024
The President of the Defence and Police Officers Wives Association (DEPOWA), Mrs. Oghogho Musa, has been nominated for the prestigious Humanitarian Medal of the Year award.
Organized by OurNigerian News Magazine, the annual award recognizes outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the country.
Mrs. Musa’s nomination is in recognition of her remarkable work in transforming DEPOWA and improving the lives of families of Nigerian servicemen and police officers as well as families of fallen heroes. Her efforts have focused on enhancing their welfare and well-being.
The DEPOWA President emerged top among three finalists, thanks to her impressive humanitarian work within the barracks.
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 30th January 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, starting at 5 pm.
This nomination is a well-deserved recognition of Mrs. Musa’s selfless service and dedication to the Nigerian community.
Mrs Musa will be the first woman to be conferred with this award. She has carried her responsibility with a lot of proactiveness, great commitment and dedication to duty.
