Mrs. Musa made this call during a two-day workshop organized for members of DEPOWA, NAOWA, NOWA, NAFOWA, and POWA. The workshop, themed “Personal Visioning and Planning,” focused on empowering women to create fulfilling and balanced lives.
Speaking to participants, Mrs. Musa acknowledged the multifaceted and demanding roles that women play in society. She emphasised the importance of finding equilibrium between career, family, and personal growth.
“Balancing these responsibilities can be overwhelming,” said Mrs. Musa. “However, within each of us lies immense untapped potential. The challenge for some is not a lack of ambition but in articulating and realising their dreams.”
The workshop introduced participants to the concept of personal visioning, which involves envisioning a desired future and taking deliberate actions towards achieving it. Participants also learned the significance of strategic planning in turning visions into reality.
The workshop covered topics such as visioning, purpose clarification, self-discovery, crafting personal vision statements, and strategic planning for personal fulfillment.
Mrs. Musa emphasised the importance of balance in all aspects of life, including career, business, family, spirituality, personal development, health and fitness, travel, and leisure.
The workshop culminated in the presentation of certificates, souvenirs, and group photographs.
