The Governor gave the assurance in Osogbo, the State Capital, at the first edition of “Ipade Imole”, a quarterly interactive meeting organized for the Governor to give an account of his stewardship to the people, and to also secure feedback from them.

At the programme in which a documentary highlighting the achievements of the Governor in the last ten months was relayed, the State helmsman took time to reel out some of his achievements, detailing: the erection of 332 boreholes across the wards in the State, expediting work on Ilesa water project, rehabilitation, and construction of roads across the State, prompt payment of workers salaries and pensions, including free Imole medical outreaches.

The Governor, who disclosed that he is sacrificing his statutory security votes on infrastructural developmental projects, also advised the political functionaries to follow his sacrificial service example for the overall development of the State.

Regarding the recruitment of Teachers to fill the existing vacancies in Schools, the State helmsman stated that it will be done after studying the report of the education summit held a few days ago, adding that he is working round the clock to make sure Osun becomes a reference point in the Country.

Earlier in his address of welcome, the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi observed that the programme is a welcome development in order to allow the number one citizen of the State to give the much-needed account of the giant strides of his administration.

While appreciating the Governor for his proactive steps in quenching the fire of violence kindled within Ifon and Ilobu communities, the Oluomo of Erin-Osun passionately appealed to his people to embrace peace.
