Kabba Prison Break: Fani Kayode alleges plans to discredit Gov Bello

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode, has alleged that the Kabba prison break in Kogi State was planned by those trying to undermine and discredit Governor Yahaya Bello.

Recall that gunmen had attacked the Kabba Custodial Centre in the wee hours of Monday, killing two soldiers and freeing many inmates.

Writing on his verified Twitter handle on Monday, Kayode said the whole incident was contrived.

In his words, “The prison break and murder of security men in Kogi was contrived. It is a similar plot to the Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), one.

“Those behind it need to know that when God is with someone nothing can stop him.

”Trying to undermine and discredit Yahaya cannot work. Those behind it will hear from us soon.”
