In a recent press release, the Klub98 Initiative, a non-governmental organization founded by alumni of Government Secondary School in Kubwa, Abuja, has vehemently denounced the recent kidnapping of more than 200 school children in Kuriga, Kaduna State.

The organization expressed deep concern over the incident, labelling it as a gross violation of human rights and a distressing reflection of the security challenges faced by Nigeria.

The press statement, issued by Om’Oba Jerry Adesewo, the President of Klub98 Initiative, conveyed solidarity with the affected families and condemned the cowardly act in the strongest terms.

Adesewo emphasized the trauma inflicted upon innocent children and stressed the urgent need for government and security agencies to escalate efforts and utilize all available resources to secure the safe return of the abducted children.

“The safety of our children must be a top priority,” Adesewo stated, echoing the sentiments of the organization. “We must come together as a nation to protect the most vulnerable among us and to create a safe environment where education can thrive without fear.”

The statement also called upon the media and the public to respect the privacy of the affected families during this challenging period and urged for collective action to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future.

Klub98 Initiative, deeply rooted in a commitment to community welfare and empowerment, has pledged unwavering support to the affected community and reiterated its dedication to advocating for the safety and well-being of all children. The organization, which focuses on education, youth development, capacity building, and mentorship, aims to make a lasting impact and foster positive change within society.
