NAHCON Secures Agreement with Ithraa Al Khair Tawafa Company for Pilgrims’ Services in Hajj 2024

Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi, Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), signed an agreement with Ithraa Al Khair Company for pilgrims’ services during Hajj 2024. The signing took place on Sunday, January 14th, at the Hilton Convention Hotel in Jabal Umar, Makkah.

The agreement outlines the expected service delivery by the company, including details of each service and associated costs. Penalties for any violations by either party are also included in the pact.

The signing of the agreement followed a thorough evaluation of service packages offered by several Mutawwif companies during the recently concluded Hajj and Umrah exhibition.

During the signing ceremony, Malam Arabi emphasized the importance of the company fulfilling its responsibilities to pilgrims with sincerity and transparency. He stressed that NAHCON would closely monitor service provision throughout the implementation and execution phases of the agreement.

Dr. Ahmad Sindhi, Chairman of Ithraa Mutawwif Company, responded by assuring NAHCON of the company’s commitment to open communication and prompt resolution of any issues that may arise. He expressed confidence in the improved service delivery resulting from years of collaboration with NAHCON.

Mutawwif establishments play a crucial role in modern Hajj operations, providing essential services to pilgrims, including transportation, accommodation, catering, and security. The signing of this agreement marks a fresh start in the relationship between NAHCON and Ithraa Al Khair Tawafa Company, with a focus on improved service delivery and pilgrim satisfaction.
