Nigeria Unveils NITOUREY, Africa’s First Tourism Streaming Hub
Nigeria has officially unveiled the first phase of NITOUREY, a dedicated tourism streaming platform designed to showcase Africa’s rich cultural and tourism heritage to a global audience.
Speaking at the launch, the Honourable Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, described the initiative as a significant milestone in repositioning Nigeria as a leading global destination for tourism, culture, and creative excellence.
According to the Minister, the platform leverages digital storytelling, film, and multimedia content to promote Nigeria’s diverse cultural identity and tourism potential on the global stage.
NITOUREY is expected to highlight iconic destinations and cultural events across the country, including Zuma Rock, Yankari National Park, the Argungu Fishing Festival, and Olumo Rock.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts by the Federal Government to harness the creative economy and promote Nigeria’s cultural assets through digital innovation.
With its rollout, NITOUREY is set to amplify authentic Nigerian stories, attract global audiences, and boost tourism-driven economic growth.
