In order to keep the Plateau and some areas of the states of Bauchi and Kaduna peaceful, troops of the Operation Safe Haven Special Military Task Force have eliminated four suspected bandits.

In a statement released on Monday in Jos, the operation’s media officer, Capt. James Oya, disclosed this.

He stated that between October 16 and October 22, the forces detained 120 additional people for a variety of offenses within their patrol regions.

A few of the individuals, according to Oya, were taken into custody on charges of drug selling, cattle rustling, armed robbery, and kidnapping, among other offenses.

He explained that other suspects were arrested for illegal possession of arms and ammunition, adding that it rescued four kidnapped victims during the operation.
