“Given the seriousness of the allegations, the NA, as a disciplined force, will conduct a comprehensive investigation into the matter,” the release stated.

It is essential to clarify that, contrary to the statements in the video, the involved soldier has not followed the established procedure for seeking redress within the NA. There are Human Rights and Gender Desks established in Army Headquarters and across NA formations, specifically designated to address complaints related to human rights and gender issues.

“The NA upholds professionalism, self-regulation, and conducts activities in adherence to established rules and ethics, maintaining the highest standards of discipline among its personnel. Consequently, we encourage all personnel to use the established channels for addressing grievances and concerns within this noble and disciplined force.”

“We assure the general public that the NA, as an institution, is committed to upholding the integrity and morals of its personnel. Appropriate actions will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.”

“We appeal to the public to allow the investigative process to unfold and refrain from making premature judgments. The NA remains dedicated to serving our nation with honour and integrity,” he assures.
