OBJ drives Keke NAPEP to exemplify legitimate jobs opportunities for youth
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Saturday in Abeokuta, Ogun State drove a commercial tricycle, popularly known as Keke NAPEP, to pick up intra-city passengers as a way of exemplifying one of the legitimate job opportunities available to the youths.
Obasanjo said that his action was informed by the desire to show the teeming youths that there were many opportunities to legitimately make a living in the country.
The former president said venturing into the business of driving Keke NAPEP was one area that could be leveraged by Nigerian youths to be financially independent.
Recall that Keke NAPEP was launched in Nov 2002 by the Obasanjo-led administration for youths in the country to get empowered and be self-reliant.
