Orimolade Alumni Group of OCGSI Elects New Executives

The Orimolade Alumni Group has gotten a new set of National Executives that will pilot its affairs for the next two(2) years.

In his maiden release as the President-Elect, on behalf of members of his team, Hon. Wale Olatunde thanked members of the group for a successful election and for the confidence reposed in them to steer the ship of the group.

Other newly elected members of the National Executive Council include Mr. Moses Olujinmi as the Vice President, Mr. Afolabi Olayiwola Augustine as the Treasurer, Veronica Remilekun Oyebiyi as the Auditor and Adeleke Oluwasegun Nelson as the Financial Secretary.

Other positions that would be filled before inauguration are General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, Social/Welfare Officer, PRO and the National Adviser.

Hon. Wale Olatunde who will take over from Mr. Kazeem Oladosu promised to continue with the programmes of his predecessor and build a united family that will respond to the needs of the members and consolidate its support for the Alma Mater.

The newly elected President who was highly elated said his team will think out of the box to formulate ways to create a more dynamic and result oriented platform between them and the Alma Mater.

Olatunde promised to ensure that the next two years of their tenure witness increased Human Capital development amongst members and better interventions in the development of the Alma Mater.

The President-Elect used the medium to commends and appreciate the people that have contributed to the success of the election as well as electoral committee led by its Chairman, Mr Babalola Paul Taiye and his team for a peaceful and credible electoral process and for doing an exceptionally brilliant job of executing their first ever all-inclusive election using an online voting system that worth emulating by other alumni associations.

“I appreciate you all for taking your time to vote for my team in which you have actually contributed immensely to ensure that we won the election.

“Orimolade Alumni Group will continue to be a model for other old students,” he stated.

Orimolade Alumni Group is the umbrella body of old students of Orimolade Commercial Grammar School, Ikirun, Osun State, Nigeria. It maintains and enhances a highly engaged, vibrant community of alumni worldwide and helps connect alumni to each other and their class sets through a wealth of community activities and events around the world.

Orimolade Commercial Grammar School (OCGSI), Ikirun, was established on 15th October, 1979 by the Saint Moses Orimolade Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church, Ikirun.

“To every alumna and alumnus, I say thank you all” the President-Elect concluded.
