The protesters expressed a range of grievances, including allegations of mass disengagement of state workers, diversion of public funds, demolition of homes and business premises, as well as the alleged targeting of opposition voices.
According to participants, these actions have had lasting economic and social consequences on affected individuals and communities across Kaduna State.
Speaking during the demonstration, protest leader Comrade Joseph Chori urged the Federal Government to take decisive action, emphasizing the need for justice, transparency, and accountability.
He noted that many victims are still grappling with the impact of the policies and decisions implemented during the former governor’s tenure.
As tensions remain high, the protest continues to draw attention, with observers closely watching how authorities will respond to the growing calls for investigation and possible legal action.
