SAIL Foundation Enhances Emergency Services and Infrastructure in Gashu’a

In a generous gesture, the SENATOR AHMAD IBRAHIM LAWAN (SAIL) FOUNDATION, spearheaded by Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, has donated essential vehicles to the Federal Science and Technical College, Gashu’a, Yobe State.

 

The contribution, presented last week, includes an ambulance for medical emergencies, a water tank truck, a utility bus, and a Peugeot 406 sedan, signifying a commitment to bolstering both healthcare and logistical support at the educational institution.

Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, during his tenure as President of the Senate from 2019 to 2023, played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Federal Science and Technical College, Gashu’a. In August 2023, he handed over the institution to the Yobe State Ministry of Education, subsequently to be transferred to the Federal Ministry of Education.

Representing Senator Lawan on the delegation that facilitated the vehicle handover were distinguished individuals including Rt Hon. Ya’u Usman Dachia, Deputy Speaker, Yobe State House of Assembly; Hon. Muhammad Garba Gagiyo, Commissioner, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning; Hon. Ibrahim Babagana Yurema, Chairman, Caretaker Committee Bade Local Government; and Hon. Sanda Kara Bade, State House of Assembly Member Representing Bade East.

This notable contribution aligns with Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan’s ongoing efforts to enhance educational institutions and emergency response capabilities, reflecting a steadfast commitment to community welfare.
