According to the press statement issued and made available to our Correspondent in Osogbo on Friday by the coalition, the movement which comprising the NLC, the Trade Union Congress (TUC), and the Joint Negotiation Council (JNC) condemned the attack and described it as an affront to the fundamental rights and liberties of trade unions in Osun State.

The coalition said the incident was another demonstration of what it called the “tyrannical tendencies” of the APC in Osun, warning that such actions undermine the principles of social justice and the dignity of workers.

The coalition promised not to tolerate any assault on its leadership, workers, or pensioners, insisting it remains committed to defending the rights and welfare of the entire workers in Osun State.

“Our struggle for workers’ rights and social justice will not be deferred by acts of tyranny. Together, we shall prevail in our pursuit of a just and equitable society, where the rights and dignity of all workers and pensioners are upheld and protected” the movement added.
