Tyson Fury marked a triumphant return to the ring with a commanding victory over hard-hitting Canadian contender Arslanbek Makhmudov, ending a 16-month hiatus and immediately setting his sights on a blockbuster clash with Anthony Joshua.
Fighting before a charged crowd, the British heavyweight appeared sharp and composed despite his long absence, using his trademark movement, reach, and ring intelligence to control proceedings against the aggressive Makhmudov. However, Anthony Joshua who was present at the stadium, refused the temptation to commit to the much anticipated fight, asking the Fury team to “send in the contract”, and he’ll be there in the ring with him.
