Nigerian Army neutralizes wanted bandit, two others in Kebbi

Troops of the Nigerian Army have killed a wanted notorious bandit nicknamed Mai-Nasara at Sangeko Forest in Kebbi State.
Two further suspected bandits who were allegedly part of the same group were also slain by the crew.
This is in line with a press release sent to Kebbi State Governor Ahmed Aliyu on Monday and signed by the Chief Press Secretary.
Idris cited Abdul Rahman Usman, Director of Security at the Cabinet Office in Birnin Kebbi, as disclosing the success story.

While applauding the efforts of the security personnel in fighting crimes and criminalities, especially in the Southern part of the state, Usman appealed to residents to give the personnel the necessary cooperation and support to succeed.
He said, “Your support and cooperation are highly necessary for the security agencies to achieve the desired goal of flushing out criminals and restoring peace and normalcy in our land.
“Therefore, there is a need for people to assist the security agencies with credible intelligence towards successful combats.”
