Breaking: Buhari leaves for London for routine checks – Presidency

President Muhammadu Buhari will leave for London, the United Kingdom for a routine medical check-up on Tuesday March 30.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, disclosed this in a statement titled “President Buhari billed for a routine medical check-up in London.”

Adesina said Buhari would be expected back in the country in the second week of April.

According to Adesina, the president will meet with the nation’s Security Chiefs first after which he will embark on the journey.

“The President meets with Security Chiefs first in the morning, after which he embarks on the journey. He is due back in the country during the second week of April 2021”.
