CAS Attends African Air Chiefs Symposium in Tunis
The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, is currently participating in the Annual African Air Chiefs Symposium (AACS) in Tunis, Tunisia. The symposium, scheduled from February 26 to March 1, 2024, is a collaborative effort by the Association of African Air Force (AAAF) and is sponsored by the United States Air Force for Europe and Air Force Africa.
The AACS, a significant multinational security cooperation initiative, aims to address key challenges faced by African air chiefs and their air forces. The event serves as a platform for strengthening partner networks, discussing strategic airlift, and sharing best practices to enhance the capacities of participating air forces.
Under the theme “Pan-African Education and Training Opportunities,” this year’s symposium will focus on crucial topics such as women”.
