Nigerian skitmaker and singer Nasiru Lawal, widely known as Nasboi, has shared candid reflections about fame, pressure, and his long-term plans in the entertainment industry.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the comedian stated that he values financial stability far more than public attention, adding that the challenges that come with fame are not something he wishes to relive.

“I will choose having money over being famous… I no fit try this kind thing for my next life again,” he wrote. “Once my money complete 5 billion, I don disembark. I no do again… No skit, no music, no acting. Make brain rest.”

Nasboi said he has mentally prepared his exit strategy and plans to retire completely from skit-making, music, and acting once he achieves his financial target of ₦5 billion.

After years of working across multiple creative spaces, he noted that what he now desires most is rest, peace of mind, and long-term security.
