Speaking as part of his vision ahead of the 2027 elections, Dr. Durkwa noted that the challenges facing citizens—hunger, suffering, hardship, and pain—are common realities that should serve as a rallying point for collective action rather than division.

According to him, hunger knows no religion, suffering recognizes no ethnicity, hardship is not regional, and pain transcends political lines. He emphasized that when people unite around these shared experiences, their collective power becomes a formidable force for positive change.

Dr. Durkwa called on the people of Adamawa State to stand together to protect the common good, demand justice, and work toward building a better future for all.

He described leadership as a call to service rather than a quest for power, adding that true leadership requires humility, sacrifice, and the courage to choose love and fairness even in difficult circumstances.

The aspirant said his decision to run for governor in 2027 is driven by a deep commitment to service and a belief that leadership should be judged by its impact on the lives and wellbeing of the people.
