Use Ramadan period to pray for peaceful election in Osun, Dr Kolawole urges Muslims

As Muslims all over the globe commenced this year’s Ramadan fast, the revered Baba Adini of Osun State, Dr Abdulfatai Adesina Kolawole has called on the entire Muslim brothers and Sisters to use this spiritual period to seek peace, stability, and divine intervention of the August 8th governorship election in Osun.
According to Dr Kolawole while fielding questions from our Correspondent on Friday, emphasised the importance of using this holy month of Ramadan to offer special prayers for the success of the upcoming elections.
Baba Adini of Osun State urged Muslims all over the state to use 2026 Ramadan fasting period to pray for peaceful, credible, and free election.
Dr Kolawole emphasised that, it is imperative for every Muslims in Osun State to use this period to pray specially for the All Progressives Congress, (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) for him to win the election overwhelmingly.
According to baba Adini of Osun State, Ramadan fast is an occurrence that must be tapped into for its spiritual significance, asking that the opportunity must be seized by engaging in fervent prayers for the new government being looked forward to in Osun.
The Modakeke born Muslim leader who congratulated the Muslim Ummah, describing Ramadan as a sacred season of spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and renewed devotion to Allah.
He said the essence of Ramadan fast goes beyond self-denial of food and drinks during the period, but to appreciate what it means to be in want and why we must always have feelings for the less privileged around us.
Dr Kolawole who is also the Oluomo of Modakeke, further urged the APC Gubernatorial Candidate in Osun, AMBO to adopt a people-centered development approach that prioritizes fairness, equity, and results.
“Let us use this holy month of Ramadan to pray fervently for the APC Gubernatorial Candidate, AMBO for him to become the next Osun Governor by God’s Grace”.
