Court Nullifies David Mark-Led ADC Caretaker Committee

A Federal High Court in Abuja has nullified the leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by former Senate President David Mark.

In a judgment delivered on Thursday, Justice Peter Lifu declared the David Mark-led caretaker committee illegal, ruling in favour of Nafiu Bala Gombe, a former National Deputy Chairman of the party (North-East).

The judgment represents a major development in the ongoing leadership crisis within the ADC, with the court’s decision favouring Bala Gombe in the dispute over the party’s leadership.
