The State Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Maigari Misau, made the appeal during an interview with journalists in Bauchi on Sunday.

Misau said the NDC offers a unique political environment devoid of factional disputes, positioning it as a credible alternative for politicians ahead of future elections.

According to him, the party stands out for its internal stability, assuring aspirants of fairness, transparency, and a level playing field.

“We are inviting all politicians, including the governor and his supporters, to join a party that guarantees fairness and transparency. If you are confident in your popularity and support base, the NDC provides the opportunity to contest without fear of internal crisis or legal battles,” he said.

He explained that the party has intensified efforts to promote its vision of good governance through awareness campaigns, including media engagements, radio jingles, and partnerships with key organisations such as the Nigeria Union of Journalists and civil society groups.

Misau noted that the campaign efforts are already yielding results, with increasing interest from individuals across the state expressing willingness to join the party.

He further disclosed that the NDC would soon inaugurate its state executive council and replicate the process across all 20 local government areas to strengthen its grassroots structure.

On membership expansion, the chairman said the party has introduced a digital registration platform to boost participation, alongside manual registration options for those without access to online services.

He revealed that national membership registration has already reached nine million, reflecting growing acceptance of the party nationwide.

Misau urged citizens to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in the political process, stressing that collective engagement remains key to achieving good governance.
