Court Remands Blessing CEO Over Alleged EFCC Case

A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the remand of social media personality Blessing Nkiruka Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, in a correctional facility pending the fulfilment of her bail conditions.

The order was issued by Justice D. I. Dipeolu following her arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The court ruled that the defendant should remain in custody until she satisfies all conditions attached to the bail granted by the court.

Blessing CEO was brought before the court on charges filed by the EFCC. Details of the allegations were presented during the proceedings, while the court considered her bail application.

Justice Dipeolu subsequently granted bail but directed that the defendant be remanded in a correctional facility until the bail conditions are fully met.

The case was adjourned to a later date for further proceedings.
