Miss World Nigeria 2026 Wins Africa’s Top Model Title, Secures Top 40 Spot

Miss World Nigeria 2026, Tamunosoye Karibi-George, has earned a major milestone on the global stage after emerging as Africa’s Top Model at the ongoing Miss World competition in Vietnam.

Karibi-George delivered an impressive performance in the highly competitive Top Model challenge, where she represented Nigeria against contestants from across the continent, including Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Kenya and South Africa.

Her victory has automatically earned her a coveted place among the Top 40 quarter-finalists of Miss World 2026, further strengthening Nigeria’s representation in the prestigious international pageant.

The 26-year-old beauty queen from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was crowned Miss World Nigeria in June after emerging victorious from a field of 20 contestants.

Beyond pageantry, Karibi-George is recognised for her advocacy through Beyond Labels, an initiative focused on promoting inclusion and creating opportunities for children with disabilities and special needs.

Her latest achievement has placed Nigeria in the spotlight at the Miss World competition and highlights the country’s growing presence on the international pageant stage.

With the grand finale scheduled for September 5 in Vietnam, all eyes will now be on Karibi-George as she continues her quest to bring further honour to Nigeria at the global competition.
