Adamawa State governorship aspirant for the 2027 elections, Dr Ishaya Inuwa Durkwa, has called for bold leadership and systemic reform, saying Nigeria needs courageous individuals willing to challenge the status quo to achieve national transformation.
Speaking on his vision for the country, Durkwa stressed that meaningful progress requires leaders who are ready to disrupt ineffective structures and replace them with people-centered policies.

“I believe Nigeria needs people who will rise and disrupt the system so that the vision of a new Nigeria can be actualized,” he said.
The aspirant emphasized that true development can only come through integrity-driven leadership, innovation, and accountability. He noted that young people, professionals, and community stakeholders must actively participate in shaping governance to move the nation forward.
Durkwa added that his ambition is rooted in service, promising to prioritize inclusive development, economic empowerment, and social justice if elected. He urged Nigerians, particularly residents of Adamawa State, to embrace change and support leaders committed to building a fairer and more prosperous society.
